Assassin's Creed Forsaken available on Dec 4 for $9.99

Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken, written by Oliver Bowden, will be available on December 4 for $9.99. The book will depict another portion of Conner’s life—one in which readers will discover his “roots.”

A spokesperson wrote that the book is:

“Set during the American Revolution, Connor has sworn to secure liberty for his people and his nation and unleashes his powerful skills on the chaotic, blood-soaked battlefields of the hostile American wilderness. Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken is the story behind who Connor really is and how he has become a deadly killer.”

Assassin’s Creed: III, the game that coincides with the Bowden’s book, is set to drop October 31, and pre-orders of the “Join Or Die Edition” is now available.

The Join Or Die Edition includes various bonus contents such a medallion of the Assassins, and a George Washington’s notebook that exposes “all the truths and secrets about the Assassins and the Templars during the American Revolution.”

What George Washington’s notebook doesn’t include is Conner’s full background, so, in truth, the Join Or Die Edition won’t tell fans “all the truths and secrets.” So if fans want to uncover Conner’s roots, they have to purchase the book—for an additional $9.99.

Next up, Assassin’s Creed: Conner’s Vengeance the motion picture on DVD and Blu-ray for $29.99 (parody statement, not meant to be taken seriously).

Angry Birds Valentine's Day edition, Angry Birds 2 and Kinect mode coming soon

Angry Birds Valentine's Day edition

With Valentine's Day approaching in two more weeks, Rovio may be launching the Valentine's Day edition of the Angry Birds on 14 February. According to reports, the special edition will come with newer birds and promises lots of fun and enjoyment; even the pigs will have slight changes such as ribbons on their heads. The game looks to appeal to the female gamers and will be available on both iOS and Android platform.

Angry Birds 2

Some Angry Birds 2 screenshotswere shownon a German DW-TV show as the hosts talked about the developers at Rovio working on new versions of the game. It was also reported thatthe new update for Angry Birds will arrive next month in time for Valentine's Day 'Angry Birds Seasons'. However, the above screenshots do not seem to have been taken from Angry Birds Seasons. Could it be from Angry Birds 2?

Playing Angry Birds using Kinect technology

Instead of using your finger to drag the catapult on the touchscreen or with the mouse on the laptop or Mac, how about playing Angry Birds simply by gesturing it, like on a Xbox 360 Kinect? It looks like a company called KinEmote was able tohack Windows 7 software that allows you to play the game with a wireless controller and your Kinect. It isn't full gesture control, but that may be possible in the near future. Check out the video:-
